My car whilst driving suddenly loses stops and the engine check symbol appears. All checks including electrical have been done but the car simply is not responding.

I had the same problem with my Sorento EX Diesel 2006 and the solution was an easy one. You need to clean a fuel filter that is inside the deposit, as it is the one that is blocked with the fuel impurities and thus not allow a response to sudden acceleration requirements, causing the engine to stall.
Do you mean the fuel filter inside the fuel tank?

Buddy, do not doubt it, it is the solenoid valve, which is next to the radiator's water tank. When this valve is damaged, it makes the vehicle stall and fume.
I took my 2008 Kia Soreto to three shops before one found a dirty throttle body which was breaking the electronic throttle pedal circuit. Got it cleaned and the car even starts better in the morning.

Hi, I own a Kia Sorento 2005 turbo diesel intercooler 2.5 automatic and, one day, it stopped accelerating and a noise appeared, like a cellphone's vibration. Hello, I have a 2002 tlx 2.5 and the same happened to me. What is making that noise is a vacuum electro valve, which you need to disconnect and clean. Try connecting the hoses properly because I did it the wrong way and the van would not speed up. There are two electro valves, one that works with the EGR valve and the one that sounds in the oil manifold.

I finally solved the problem by changing that electrovalve that connects the hoses leaving from the repressor, the one that makes the contact closure activate.

My 2003 kia sorento stalls while driving it will run fine then all of a sudden stall without warning I can get it to start right away then drives fine. I am also getting vacuum leak codes when I check the computer system lean bank 2. I checked the hoses and they are good I cleaned the maf sensors and the pvc valve I just want to know what else I can do I need this suv to get me and my kids around I cant afford to get a new one any help please

Check and see if your vehicle has a crank position sensor. If it does, replace it.
