Trunk button SolvedSolved

Ford Focus 2002  20000 miles
The trunk button of my Focus is not working. Does anyone know whether it is a fuse, a sensor or a mechanical problem? Thanks for the help.

I had the same problem and it was solved over time. In my case it worked but every time I had to press it harder, guess it was dirty...

I took out the button and noticed it was not making proper contact. I expanded it a bit and it is now working back!

Will not start

Ford Focus 2002 automatic 80000 miles
Friend drove to my house with no previous problems. 2002 ford focus automatic, will not start. Instrument panel does not illuminate, engine does not turn over, a thump noise comes from the trunk area. Lights, horn, flashers, interior lights and fan work. Checked fuses, jumped, no luck.

Check the fuel pump and also if there is dirt in the spark plug. Let me know if you find something.

Fuel pump engages intermittently

Ford Focus 2008 4 door 2.0 sedam 128000 miles
Have to click ignition on and off repeatedly sometimes til you hear the pump then no problems. Sidenote: trunk is soaked some sort of breach where water is entering trunk compartment. Could that be affecting wiring? Or possibly is it a relay? Battery new terminals clean no stalling literally no other issues.

It sounds like you are experiencing an issue with the fuel pump in your 2008 Ford Focus engaging intermittently. There could be a number of reasons why this is occurring, and it will be necessary to diagnose the problem to determine the cause.
One potential cause could be a problem with the fuel pump relay. The fuel pump relay is responsible for supplying power to the fuel pump, and if it is not functioning properly, it could cause the fuel pump to engage intermittently.
Another potential cause could be a problem with the wiring for the fuel pump. If the wiring is damaged or corroded, it could cause the fuel pump to engage intermittently.
If you have recently noticed that the trunk of your vehicle is soaked with water, this could also potentially be a contributing factor to the issue you are experiencing with the fuel pump. Water entering the trunk compartment could potentially cause problems with the wiring or other electrical components in the vehicle.
I recommend having a mechanic diagnose the issue to determine the cause and recommend the appropriate repairs. They will be able to test the fuel pump relay and check the wiring and other electrical components to identify any problems and make the necessary repairs.

Locked keys in truck and release button broke

Ford Focus 2005  1000 miles
Locked keys in trunk and the release button doesn't work and I don't want to spend 300 bucks for a lock smith to come out is there anyway to get into the trunk without the key or button?
