Power loss when accelerating

Nissan Almera 2005  115000 miles
My car does not accelerate, it loses power instead. It has been checked with three different scanners but no failure was indicated. I've checked the fuel pressure and it is 48 pounds. I've changed the positions of the camshaft and crankshaft sensors as they are the same, I've cleaned the injectors, the throttle body, the MAF sensor, but the car is still the same. Has anyone had this problem? I have my doubts with the VVT valve as, if it fails, it is not detected by the ECU and it affects the engine time and performance.

Hi, if you are still with the problem, check that the 3 of the stop lights are working, as the car loses power if one of them fails. Hope it helps and good luck.

I spent a whole day trying to find this fault and it turned out to be both brake light bulbs. Never in my 35 years as a technician have i seen this problem without a fault code. Massive Thanks to you.

I've changed the MAF sensor for a Sentra one and the power loss problem was solved. You can try replacing yours with a Sentra or an Altima sensor, good luck.

Coil failure

Nissan Almera 2002  2000 miles
Even though the four coils are working, coil number 1 has no spark. I was told this has to do with a computer failure. The strange thing is that sometimes it works and others it does not. I've already changed all the coils and only one of them does not spark. What can it be?

Manmanemanr from other a year ago
Cheers mate...one of the posible cause is the ecu not sending signal to the coil...just check the pin for signal at the coil socket harnes side with test light you will found no ground wether power on or off...you can compare to the other 3 socket to double confirm

NATS error code

Nissan Almera 2004  136000 miles
The immobilizer light is turned on, which indicates there is a failure in the NATS or immobilizer system. The vehicle occasionally stalls and starts without a problem. But there are some other occasions, which have been more frequent lately, in which the engine does not start working again after it stalls.

You need to change both the crankshaft and camshaft sensors and then reset your computer.

If the car is not starting and the fuel pump is not turning on when the ignition switch is turned on, it could be a problem with the ignition switch or a malfunctioning component.
Here are a few things you can try:

Check the ignition switch. The ignition switch is responsible for turning on the fuel pump and other systems when the car is started. If the ignition switch is not functioning properly, it can cause the car to not start. You can check the ignition switch by inspecting it for any visible damage or wear and by testing it to see if it is functioning properly.
Check the fuel pump relay. The fuel pump relay is responsible for turning on the fuel pump when the car is started. If the relay is not functioning properly, it can cause the fuel pump to not turn on and the car to not start. You can check the relay by inspecting it for any visible damage or wear and by testing it to see if it is functioning properly.
Check the fuel pump. The fuel pump is responsible for pumping fuel from the fuel tank to the engine. If the fuel pump is not functioning properly, it can cause the car to not start. You can check the fuel pump by inspecting it for any visible damage or wear and by testing it to see if it is functioning properly.

Nissan Almera 1.8 2005

Nissan Almera 2005 1.8 116hp 85kw 150000 miles
My Nissan Almera 1.8 2005 starts normaly and after 25-30 km the engine stops working and can not be started 1-2 minutes, after starting, the problem repeats in shorter period. The check indicator is turned on. I have made computer diagnostic and it shows 3 errors:
P0340 cmp sen/circ-b1
P0011 int/v tim cont-b1
P1612 Chain of ECM-IMMU
Both the crankshaft and camshaft sensors have been replaced, but the failure remains and it keeps indicating there is a problem with the crankshaft sensor. I do not know what else to do, can you help me please? Thank you in advance.
