My 2008 kia rio won't start. When i turn the key it just makes a clicking noise but yet the lights and radio still work

My 2009 kia rio is acting up. The check engine light is blinking. It's shaking and when I give it gas the radio wigs out.

When I first got the car, everything was just fine. Then about 2-3 months ago, my radio would just cut off. All of the lights around the radio would work, but as far as the display itself, the audio, AUX and other chargers, they're a no-go. It would only cut on as soon as I turned on my high beams. So I was thinking it was the battery. I found out that it had a dead cell so I got that changed. But when I changed the battery, that made it worse. Now it won't even come on at all, unless I'm pumping gas and just so happen to turn the key into the on position. And it stays on less than 5 mins then! I took out the audio fuse for a couple seconds like a website told me to do and still nothing! It's driving me crazy, because everyone knows that a car without a radio isn't the same. Please help!

Crossed the wire when I put in the battery in backwards, the horn stared to go off. I removed the negative connection, flip it to the correct position. It starts, now I have warning lights for the ABS, battery and brake on. No radio, heat or rear defrost working. Any ideas on what to look for?

When starting the car,it would crank,but not turn over(50% of the time),and when it does start,it drives fine,but this past week, the battery light and oil light came on,and the car was at the stop light,and wouldn't move,while everythingelse was functioning(radio,ac,etc),so I put it in park ,and turned the key,it cranked right up. Later I took it to autozone,and they looked at the engine,tugged on a hose,checked the exhaust fan,then sat behind the wheel,and cranked it right up,no problem,but found nothing wrong,but didn't do a diagnostic. Battery is good, but car won't start. Headlights, dome lights, radio, and air conditioner aren't working either. Could it be the ignition switch? I haven't had any issues starting it until I got in to leave work last night and it just wouldn't crank, can't jump it either.

So I have a 2009 Kia Rio that the left low beam will not work, I’ve already switched light bulbs to check it that was the problem but it’s not. I checked the fuses and found that if I remove the passenger side headlight fuse the low beam will turn on both sides but very dim and if I put it back in the left low beam goes out again.

Anyone ever had this problem or know if a solution??

Car won’t start up all the way everything come on I have new battery so I know that not the problem and I have oil. I put coolant in my car once it cool down. But it’s still not cranking all the way up to start up

I turn on my AC it just blows warm air don't get cold at all... my AC air isn't cold. 🥶 I've put freon in it had it recharge and check the fuses/relays and there ain't bad they are all good...

Car starts fine but there is nothing showing on display console. No radio and no back up camera

The car has had a service but the problem still persists. ---The symptoms--- 1. Rough idling at rest. Rev pin would fluctuate 100-200 RPM. After service that is no longer an issue but the even though the pin is not fluctuating you can feel the engine isn't smooth. 2. The car is overheating and it wont start

Car goes into limp mode after driving for at least 1/2 hour and heater coolant fan refuse to work. Change engine oil temp sensors still in limp mode

I want to replace my stereo (small screen) Kia Rio 2018 - camera and BT are available but i need to set an OEM stereo with GPS ect.
Could I change it and what about the missing plugs behind the new one ????

Just bought a 2008 kia Rio and while the radio and CD player work none of the buttons do. I can manually change stations but I can't use the presets, change from am to fm, aux...nothing. Help please.

Dear friends, I would be really thankful if you could help me. I have a Rio and yesterday, when trying to start the car, it did not respond. The engine turns but it won't start working. I really do not understand what happened. I've checked every single fuse and they are all fine. When I give contact, the everything turns on normally on the dashboard, except for a light that shows the figure of a car with a key in the middle. I was told that the immobilizer had been activated. I do not understand how and why it happened. Can you help me please?
