Anti theft light is on, truck won't start. Had locksmith program 2 new keys, that didn't work. Did a cold reset, changed some fuses, still wont start,and error still on my display panel.

If you have an anti theft system, there should be an anti theft light (that blinks when you start the truck), and the key should have a chip in it.

You can just rip the whole system out of the truck. All the boxes are the antenna in the steering wheel in the rear quarter panel of the driver side.
There may be more but that's what will allows my truck to run. I have a broken steering lock And no Ignition switch. It is supposed to have a key fob. But I do not have those keys anymore. It's still runs just by. I took all the boxes out. And that's where I'm at with it.

Unless there has been a more recent resolution you're going to be in for a very time-consuming repairs not sure what your and model you are in but in respect to you our 99 f150 XL V6 we have had nothing but one issue after another long story short unless you know a a locksmith and have a little money in your pocket you have to do everything yourself you can get the kit at AutoZone for the ignition to change that out make sure and get the keys that are compatible with your anti-theft system then assuming that you have a diagnostic that has a USB connection for a PC download forscan and erase your current key saved and program your new keys long story short hope your computer savvy I've had to figure this out as I went and again I'm only referring to my own year and model F-150 so it may change for your particular situation good luck

want to bypass the immobilizer/transponder unit. no programmed key. Changed the steering column to avoid loose wires and accidentally cut the wire to the immobilizer. I saw an idatalink ADS CA immobilizer bypass 64K Multi Platform on ebay and not sure if it could work without w/o a functioning immobilizer unit installed. Not sure if this is what I need?

Please help. With this. Has been. A headache getting stranded too much have been checking. Wires, and fuses, still got more to check can you have a certain type of computer. To finde out. The direct. Problem whAT Type if possible????
In the 2004 ford f150 if you have that problem its the ground screw on the passenger side because they left out sealent around the windshield,water gets down in the passenger side. Take off the panel by the fuse box towards the door and check the ground,its usally russted away. Take and put in a new ground screw or use one already there.

New battery and starter. Anti theft light no longer on or blinking when truck is at rest. Engine turns over better when the fuel relay is removed.

Think it may be a bad ground. Need to find out how to check the grounds. I did manage to reset the anti theft though.

Fuel pump 4 prong harness was unplugged then plugged back in. Truck cranks with no start and Anti-Theft light flashes. Fuel pump stays on and fuel returns to tank thru lines. Replaced fuel pump, checked fuses/relays. All good. There was a clicking in dash above cluster that occurred with key on. Not cranking. It eventually stopped.
