The steering column will not unlock with the key how do you change it

When wrench light comes on the steering becomes tighter and wrench light stays on. I don’t lose power except cruise control will shut off if I have it on. Wrench light goes away if I shut truck off for a bit.

Since new, a very intermittent problem with steering. In a very slight left turn and left only, the steering sticks and doesn't return to center unless forced. The steering angle is 1 to 2 degrees when this occurs. Dealership can never duplicate the problem.

I can't get my hazards or turn signals to work. I've replaced the flasher relay under the dash and the 20 amp fuse is still good. All the blind are good. Still doesn't work. So now I'm looking at the turn signal/flasher switch on the steering column. Has anyone ever heard of one going bad? It's over 90$, so I wanna be sure. I've haven't blown a fuse yet for this.

We just purchased the Ford f150 just last week. Not even a week with it today, driving back home drops to zero in oil, turns off, hand wheel gets stuck and says oil pressure is low. How is it low if I barely got the truck? I feel like I was riped off. Good thing is I got the warranty for it.

Can't turn steering wheel at all

Around 15 minutes after starting my truck, when turning around slowly or reversing, the rear wheels vibrate and feel as if they were stuck or braking. It does the same if I'm going uphill, and it's easy to notice how they vibrate and "jump" around. The cardan, differential, brakes and discs were checked, but the problem is still there.

Hi beam just quit. I've changed bulbs, put in new multi function switch, checked all fuses, and checked all connections alond steering column,under dash, ect. What else could be causing this problem?

When I accelerate a little hard there is a thumping noise, but there is none if I do it slowly. I already changed the bracket where the wheels are attached, the differential was checked and everything seems alright. Somebody told me it might be the gearbox mounting, could it be?

want to bypass the immobilizer/transponder unit. no programmed key. Changed the steering column to avoid loose wires and accidentally cut the wire to the immobilizer. I saw an idatalink ADS CA immobilizer bypass 64K Multi Platform on ebay and not sure if it could work without w/o a functioning immobilizer unit installed. Not sure if this is what I need?

Rear Blinkers still work as do flashers. Removed dashboard panels around steering wheel replaced Speedometer and Tachometer display lamps with #39 long-life lamps reinstalled cluster. Went to store to get water, police stop due to taillight failure.

I see dark area as if it slow leaking. How often does this have to be changed?

Missing fuses making loud noise steady getting louder until it just shut off after the radio and lights faded out, coming into my driveway. Ford has replaced the ECM and multiple visits later nothing has been done. Power steering and AC won't stay working even though both are full and there are no leaks. I figured it would be a pulley or tensioner making the gradually louder noise but i pulled on it and it seems okay still so I'm just lost here and tired of throwing money way to a dealership and other mechanics whenever it seems to be something bigger or even more simple cause the problems that are occurring.

Okay the truck doesn't want to run right it's like it's got no power you can feel it misfire your kick in and off I've got a new ECM I got a new injectors I got a new coil packs I got a new tank I got a new fuel pressure regulator I got a new fuel pump I've got new coil packs new spark plugs cam sensor crank sensor the differential pressure feedback sensor throttle body positioner sensor all this has all been put in here pretty much all new stuff even replace the wiring harness from the ECM out to the engine plug and play can't figure out why it doesn't want to run down the road very good it'll be fine unless it's an electrical issue

Steering wheel controls don’t work radio volume wipers and blinkers checked steering control module fuse but can’t find blinker fuse in the manual. I see ine for wiper motor but none for wiper controls

No power to anything inside of truck. Nothing changes when key turned. Geting a 4% feed back in wireing. Battery fully charged. Clicking noise coming from hazard signal box under steering column. I have headlights. Power at the starter. All fuses are a1. Changed out the whole fuse box. Checked all grounds good. Im stumped here. Can anyone help.

My key is on and the main key is lost so there is no way to turn it off. Speed is set to 70 and volume is low, the real kick in the family jewels is you can not use your 4x4 because you can't turn the stability traction off. So I have a big truck that can barley pull it's on weight when off road

Radio randomly comes on with no key in the vehicle. While driving Randomly disconnects bluetooth device (Phone). Outside temperature indication rapidly drops with no actual change in outside temp. When outside temperature drops, A/C will blow hot until normal indication returns. And last issue randomly when adjusting volume with steering wheel switch it will change radio station instead of adjusting volume.

I have replaced fuse boxes fusses relays Wire harness Alternator /Battery Power steering pump and resovoir,AC Pump, Serpentine Belt Solenoid... And I'm ready to throw in the towel... please Help

Not a dialy driver. Truck was working great. I parked it for a week and my wife went to drive it. I got that phone call wondering why my truck was hard to turn. Sure enough, no power steering. No noises, no vibration, just not working at all. Any ideas. I have looked on the internet to find a problem and the $1600 for a rack and pinion is scary.
