Has power with overdrive off but hesitates and Boggs down when going up hill with overdrive on and acts sluggish when cruising at low speeds with overdrive on. When you step on the gas halfway to the floor or more it Boggs way down before accelerating. I have replaced all 8 coils all 8 spark plugs fuel filter both evap valves and the fuel pump control module and cleaned the mass airflow sensor and dumped fuel system cleaner in the tank.

My son has a 1989 ford f150. He ran out of gas, put gas in it, sprayed started fluid, changed the fuel filter, checked the air filter, and reconnected the battery. It tries to start, but won't catch. We don't really know much else to do, any suggestions for a newbee diy'er? :)

It started with jerks while driving; when starting gold y vibrates and then it normalizes. While driving it losed power as if choking a little, but now it got worse. It chokes while accelerating and sounds as if exploding, when I let go it keeps driving; if I accelerate again it does the same but it doesn't stall. If I turn it off for 5 seconds it works for 10 minutes and then it fails again. I alreadi cleaned the injectors, changed spark plugs, air filter, fuel filter, fuel pump, coils and their sensors. I've already had this problem for a year and they can't solve it, yesterday I scanned it and had air sensor error, but changing it didn't fix it.

I can start up truck and it idles fine but i get in it and hit gas It will work normal for -a sec and then i hit gas it acts like its choking its self out i changed fuel filter checked all vacuum lines and added sea foam and injection cleaner as well and cant seem to figure my problem out any ideas oh and if i shut it of and start it right back it works some what normal again for a few sec then start acting like it was

I drive around at least 2 hrs or more and 06 f150 you go to mash pedal down to pull out or to go up hill or to pass and truck just shuts off no power anything no lights nothing. I've replaced throttle body, fuel pump control mod. Up by spare tire. Ive replaced fuel filter. Thermostat, air filter , sill have this issue I really would like to drive my truck again. What else should I fix.

Check engine light was on so had auto zone run a scan on it. And at that time my truck would barley creep down the road. Well holy crap a ton of codes parked it till was able to slowly work on it. First changed all spark plugs helped a little then all 8 coil packs. New throttle body new EGR valve. Got a little better new fuel filter. Still ruff idle and cutting out on exceleration. Used smoke machine to check vacuum leaks didn't see any smoke. Checked vacuum line from brake booster that hooks to back of intake seems intact. Brake light stays on mostly sometimes flashes on and off. I'm at a loss help me figure this out. Plz

Won't Start have new fuel pump, fuel filter and new battery and it still won't start

My truck starts perfectly, but when I'm driving and make a stop and accelerate, it doesn't respond and it stops as if it didn't have gas. I already changed the fuel filter but it does the same.

It will not start in it have a new battery in a alternator, fuel filter in it well not still not work

I have a 2006 f150 5.4 that has decided not to start without ether. After it warms up it will start fine until it cools down. Then it needs another 3 seconds of the devil's spray. It does not throw any codes. Fuel pressure was average. 39.5 psi. I changed the fuel filter and the FPDM. The filter was just because and the FPDM thinking that maybe it had a corrosion issue. After changing the FPDM my fuel pressure went to 75.75 psi. Now I am getting the P0191. The vacuum line to the vapor canister vent solenoid valve had collapsed and I replaced the hose. I had access to another VCVSV I plugged in and no joy.

To me it sounds like it's misfiring I have changed my fuel filter I fuel line and my feel filter is clogged but it was running and then I turned it off and I went to start it again and it won't start but it doesn't sound like it's getting any fire because it's turning over its just not catching

And I have checked all my fuses

The reason I changed the EGR valve and EGR sensor is because when I connected my computer to my truck it said it was not working and threw codes at me... someone please help me with this I've been a few months without my truck and I need it running bad

My lariat turns on with the fuel pump shut off switch triggered and when I push the reset button it won’t start also I have no pressure in the fuel rail fuel pump is new fuel filters new I’m guessing fuel pressure regulator

Was driving one day and suddenly when accelerating truck would bog out, did this for 5 km then stalled, towed home hooked up 0BD2 reader and the code was p0191, fuel rail pressure sensor, changed that, fuel filter, fuel pump, fuel sending module, and now it starts but only for 10-20 seconds before stalling, not getting any codes now, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...thank you...

I recently changed the oil, filter, valve cover gaskets, spark plugs, wires and fuel filter. I filled it with gas and it started to shudder and pull to the right, hard. There is no visible signs of bushings or control arms damaged. I am leaking fluid
Under it, running on the transmission lines, what should I be looking for next? I'm going to change the transmission fluid, filter and gasket, what else should I look for?

Will down shift we you give it the gas! I think it’s in limp mode, wrench warning light came on. Wondering if it could be the fuel filter?
