Try cleaning your Mass Air Flow senser with cleaner from part store make sure it's for that senser n clean up throttle body real good with cleaner too. Also change out your PVC valve. I also had cooling fans not coming on as needed replaced couple relays n all is good now. Also check temperature control senser. Had same problems. Truck runs so much better now.

Ford F-150 2005 F150 5.4 3valve 100000 miles
Has power with overdrive off but hesitates and Boggs down when going up hill with overdrive on and acts sluggish when cruising at low speeds with overdrive on. When you step on the gas halfway to the floor or more it Boggs way down before accelerating. I have replaced all 8 coils all 8 spark plugs fuel filter both evap valves and the fuel pump control module and cleaned the mass airflow sensor and dumped fuel system cleaner in the tank.

I went through this problem for about 9 months. Replaced icm, computer, disputer, coils, plugs , wires, tps, maf, egr , fuel pressure regulator,. Last thing replaced o2 sensor fixed the total thing. If I was to start over I would get the air right, o2 sensors and maf. Then check fuel pressure, and go from there. Go to a mechanic that can read the obd1 computer to diaganose it better. Good luck
Diesel Jerry from United States 6 years ago
If you have the 4R70E or W transmission there’s an issue with the design of the drum in the transmission and the valves sticking in the valve body. They make a better designed drum to fix the problem.

My pick up does not accelerate

Ford F-150 1998  140000 miles
It started with jerks while driving; when starting gold y vibrates and then it normalizes. While driving it losed power as if choking a little, but now it got worse. It chokes while accelerating and sounds as if exploding, when I let go it keeps driving; if I accelerate again it does the same but it doesn't stall. If I turn it off for 5 seconds it works for 10 minutes and then it fails again. I alreadi cleaned the injectors, changed spark plugs, air filter, fuel filter, fuel pump, coils and their sensors. I've already had this problem for a year and they can't solve it, yesterday I scanned it and had air sensor error, but changing it didn't fix it.

Bruce from United States a year ago
This could potentially be caused by a fuse or relay problem.
To check for a fuse problem, you will need to locate the fuse panel in your vehicle. This is usually located under the dashboard on the driver's side of the car, or in the engine compartment. The fuse panel will have a diagram showing the location and function of each fuse. You can check the fuses to see if any are blown or damaged. If you find a blown fuse, you can replace it with a new fuse of the same amperage.
To check for a relay problem, you will need to locate the relay panel in your vehicle. This is usually located in the engine compartment or under the dashboard on the driver's side of the car. The relay panel will have a diagram showing the location and function of each relay. You can check the relays to see if any are damaged or not functioning properly. If you find a faulty relay, you can replace it with a new one.
If you are unable to identify the source of the problem or if the issue persists after checking the fuses and relays, I recommend having a mechanic diagnose and repair the issue to ensure that the problem is properly addressed and the vehicle is safe to drive.

Stalls when warm at low spèed

Ford F-150 2008 5.4 FX4 160000 miles
My truck wants to stall at low speeds. When I put the truck in neutral then Rev up the engine and pit it in drive it runs fine until I slow down again then it does the same thing. The garage changed the cam sensors but that didn't correct the problem. They suggest increasing the velocity of engine oil and or putting synthetic in to increase the oil pressure. Any thoughts?

Your Accord is equipped with a temperature gauge that shows you how hot or cold the engine coolant is. During normal operation, it should stay in the middle of the range. If it moves into the red, though, you need to do something immediately...https://forpc. Onl/snaptube-for-pc/ https://jfi. Cam/jiofilocalhtml/ If there's no steam visible, watch the temperature gauge.

Ok so ill be driving amd everything will be ok untill i slow down to a stop then it idles very low so low it stalls it doesn't do it all the time but mostly when i put it in reverse... the only reason i think it does it in reverse more is because it has the most torque so you dont have to use as much of the gas pedal to get it going which results in the low idle stalling... i replaced the crankshaft position sensor and cleaned the maf sensor... any info would help please and thank you
